VI.3)Additional information

The contract is for the provision of monitoring and servicing to existing panic alarm systems at approximately 80 properties throughout Northern Ireland.
The service will generally comprise:
1. Provision of alarm monitoring and response service by the contractors Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to all installations.
2. Provision of planned and reactive maintenance service to all systems.
3. Design and installation and certification of (an estimated 2/3 per year) new panic alarm systems as notified by the Contracting Authority.
The Contracting Authority expressly reserves the rights:
1. Not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice;
2. To make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition.
In no circumstances will the Authority be liable for any costs incurred by candidates.
The contracting authority will not be responsible for, or pay any expenses or losses, which may be incurred by an economic operator in responding to this notice or in preparing their tender. The contracting authority reserves the right not to award any contract as a result of this competition.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: This procurement is governed by the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 and provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the high court in Northern Ireland.
CPD will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
