Mentor Tender ConnectG/CeangalG

2.2

Description of the goods or services required

The purpose of ConnectG is to improve the effectiveness of public agency support of Gaelic-language enterprise through greater collaboration and joint action with Northern Ireland, the Border Region of the Republic of Ireland and Western Scotland. It seeks, through a series of exploratory pilot projects, to harness the potential of Irish and Scottish Gaelic so as to stimulate economic activities and make a strong contribution to the prosperity of the region.

Although much of the support provided through the project is via its website, it is recognised that access to high quality mentoring services can have greatest impact on a small company. This support needs to be timely and needs to provide the right skills to address the business problem. The support will complement that already provided by development agencies and will be different as it will be addressing Gaelic enterprises.
