Swansea Council has received Welsh Government grant funding to improve all schools network infrastructure.

Due to the Schools Network and WiFi Architecture re-design and move from CISCO/Aerohive to ARUBA technology, most schools will require cabinet moves/replacements and associated cabling changes. All schools (94 in total) will require WiFi Access Point (AP) installs and removal of existing APs. In total there 2 048 APs across all schools.

To enable the council to implement these changes, Swansea Council are seeking a contractor to undertake all required cabling installations/replacements, all cabinet moves/replacements and the installation of new Wifi Access Points and removal of old Wifi APs.
