All lead professional advisors will be accredited to the standards included in the ITT and will cover architects and building surveyors. An additional arrangement will be established for all other disciplines and will be advertised separately.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The provision of building surveying (as defined by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) services related to the visitor facilities at those sites, and occasional advice regarding works to historic buildings and other Cadw facilities, as required including non-historic domestic and commercial property. This may include coordinating and incorporating other specialist advice. Selected consultants on request, (outlined in the brief and task order) to act as the lead professional advisor and also principal designer. The selected companies will work to Cadw’s in-house specialist teams and in conjunction with other specialist companies.

The provision of architectural services related to the conservation and management of ancient monuments, the design maintenance and repair of visitor facilities at those sites, and occasional advice regarding works to historic buildings and other Cadw facilities including non-historic, domestic and commercial property, as required. Selected consultants on request, (outlined in the brief and task order) to act as the lead professional advisor and also principal designer. To work with Cadw’s in-house specialist conservation teams and in conjunction with other specialist companies, providing full or partial architectural, technical and planning supervision services as required. This may include co-ordinating and incorporating other specialist advice such as structural, mechanical, electrical etc.
