The Framework shall exclude long term hires for car, any commercial vehicles and minibuses. These requirements are covered under other Highland Council Contracts.
Contractors shall understand that the Authority is free to enter into single or multiple Contracts with 1 or more Contractors for the provision of the Services. Contractors accept that no undertaking can be given as to any rate or level of usage as a result of the execution of the Framework.
The Framework shall be divided into ten (10) lots as follows; Contractors shall be limited to one or more of the following specific geographical areas:
Lot 1 — Inverness City *
Lot 2 — Inner Moray Firth (excluding Inverness City)**
Lot 3 — Wick
Lot 4 — Thurso
Lot 5 — Golspie
Lot 6 — Portree
Lot 7 — Fort William
Lot 8 — Easter Ross
Lot 9 — Badenoch and Strathspey
Lot 10 — Fort Augustus
* Inverness City is defined as the geographic area stretching to Culloden, Smithton and Balloch in the East, Kiltarlity in the West, as far South as Daviot and North Kessock to the North.
