Local Safeguarding Children Boards (LSCB’S) of Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Halton and Warrington have worked in partnership across Cheshire to address and improve the way we are tackling the areas of child sexual exploitation and missing children. The Cheshire LSCB’s have joint protocols and priorities to identify and manage risk and to ensure a consistency in approach.
This commissioned service is a collaboration across the four Cheshire Local Authorities and is a key element of the PAN Cheshire strategies for CSE and Missing. The Missing from Home and Care service will work across all of the four local authority areas with clear links with Cheshire Constabulary’s missing from home co-ordinators to identify, track and support young people who have been notified as missing from home or care. A co-ordinated and organised response including return interviews will facilitate direct intervention work with children, young people and their families. The Child Sexual Exploitation service will work across all of the four local authorities to provide a specialist service to children and young people either at risk of sexual exploitation or who are victims of sexual exploitation.
The Pan Cheshire Partnership is committed to providing high quality services for our diverse community. We invite only professional, reliable, financially viable providers to help us achieve our vision:
‘We will enable children and young people to feel valued, happy, healthy and safe and to achieve their full potential.’.
