Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) wishes to hear from organisations interested in providing Intermediate Care Services in Residential and Nursing home settings within South Devon. To supplement our current arrangements of spot beds, the Trust is looking for a number of block beds and additional spot beds.
— For Coastal locality.
– 2 nursing or 2 residential in Dawlish or surrounding areas.
– 2 residential in Teignmouth or surrounding areas.
— For Newton Abbot locality.
– 2 residential in Bovey Tracey.
– 2 residential in Newton Abbot.
– Up to 4 nursing in Newton Abbot.
— For Moor-to-Sea locality.
– 2 residential in Totnes.

The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the ‘Regulations’). As such, the procurement of the Services is being run as a bespoke, single stage application process akin to the Open procedure. The Contracting Authority does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to Schedule 3 services.
This is a ‘Light Touch Regime’ Procurement where Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) would like to invite tenders for Intermediate Care placements.
