The Borough Council of Sandwell (The ‘Council’) receives income from various sources and requires a secure, reliable and timely collection, reconciliation and banking services to deal with this income in a prompt and accurate manner. The service must be performed to a high professional standard with appropriate management controls and mechanisms in place to ensure consistent quality of service.
The main requirement of the service will be to ensure that the income is collected using the most efficient and secure method available to maximise safety and cost effectiveness and to deter vandalism and theft with a full audit trail kept of all income from collection to banking and delivery.
Alll income collected will be stored securely prior to banking, being promptly transported safely and securely for banking, will all associated documents for the income collected accurately completed and promptly forwarded to the Council.
The contract period will be a minimum of two years commencing 1.4.2014 to 31.3.2016 with an option to extend for up to a further two year period at the discretion of the Council until 31.3.2018.
The Council are following the Restricted Procedure for this Procurement and the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (‘PQQ’) and related documents will be available to Applicants upon an expression of interest on the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal.

PQQ’s must be submitted through the Sandwell In-Tend Supplier Portal by no later than 12:00 Noon on 3.1.2014 which is the date fixed for submission of responses to the PQQ.
