The employer intends to appoint a contractor to deliver catering services including breakfast, lunch and hospitality across it’s 2 campuses in Widnes and Cronton.
The contract will be a ‘Cost-Plus’ contract and run for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 x 1 year terms, dependent upon satisfactory performance and at the sole discretion of the employer. A key objective of the contract is to consistently achieve nil-subsidy and provide a health and nutritious food offer.
The successful contractor may also be engaged to invest in the future development of the existing catering facilities.
