Discovery School a new industry-driven technical school for 14-19 year require the services of an outsourced catering provider. The school will be open from September 2013 and wish to competitively compete the requirement in an open, fair and transparent manner. The contract regulations apply to this exercise in their entirety; therefore the process adopted to conduct the exercise is OJEU restricted procedure.
Responses to the PQQ will be used to assist the Trust in short listing bidders to tender for the above contract. Shortlisted bidders will be invited to participate further in the procurement.

Discovery School a new industry-driven technical school for 14-19 year require the services of an outsourced catering provider. The school will be open from September 2013. The school wish to competitively compete the requirement in an open, fair and transparent manner. The contract regulations apply to this exercise in their entirety; therefore the process adopted to conduct the exercise is OJEU restricted procedure.

An outsourced catering provider is required to provide specialist services in the development, preparation and serving of meals, hospitality requirements and advice surrounding the school customers specific dietary requirements the provider will also be responsible for all legal and health and safety requirements in delivering the services. Its currently anticipated the contract will include all food and staff provision to support the delivery of the requirement including the purchasing of light equipment.
The proposed length of the contract is currently 3 years plus an option to extend a further two years on a year by year basis.
