Description of the contract

Harlow Council is inviting bids from suitably qualified and experienced caterers who will be required to source vendors, manage and oversee the successful delivery of this contract. This shall include vendors able to provide a wide variety of foodstuffs, plus hot and cold beverages (excluding alcoholic drinks) that will appeal to all age groups attending this high profile, well attended family event.

The Bonfire Night Firework Display is an annual outdoor event. It will be held on the 4 November 2012 at the Harlow Town Park Showground. Harlow Council and the Great Parndon Community Association (GPCA) are the providers of this event working in partnership.

This event typically attracts visitor numbers of about 8000 over the evening that commences at 6.00 pm until approximately 8.00 pm. The hours of trading shall run between 5.30 pm and 8.30 pm on the Event Date. Further information is available in the tender documents attached hereto.
