Service category No 27: Other services
Applications will be accepted for one or more of the following lots;
Lot 1 – Site Services including Cleaning Services to be delivered at Epsom Hospital site.
Lot 2 – Catering Services to be delivered at Epsom and St.Helier Hospital sites.
Lot 3 – Combination of Site Services including Cleaning Services to be delivered at Epsom Hospital site and Catering Services to be delivered at Epsom and St.Helier Hospital sites.
The specification will vary with each service and individual pricing will be a requirement of this contract.
The Trust reserves the right to award individual Lots to providers as well as the opportunity for a single award for both Lots as detailed in Lot 3.
The Trust requests that when expressing an interest you declare if you are interested in providing one or multiple Lots from the list above. Please include this detail in your PQQ submission and if you are bidding for multiple Lots please note that a single PQQ will be accepted.
The initial term will be for 60 months with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months in increments to be decided by Epsom & St Helier NHS Trust. It is anticipated that the start date for this contract(s) will be 1.6.2014.
During the course of the contract the Trust’s requirements may be subject to change and contractors must have a flexible, partnership working approach. Buildings may open or close throughout the lifetime of the contract, and therefore there is no guarantee of any volume of business.
No subcontracting will be allowed as part of this contract.
Enhanced DBS checks are required for all staff delivering services on this contract.
It is anticipated that up to five suppliers per Lot will be shortlisted to the tender stage of the tender process but Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust reserve the right to amend this number at their sole discretion.
