The proposed duration of the contract is three (3) years (36 months) with the option to extend for a period or periods of up to a further one (1) years (12 months).

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

Winchester City Council is intending to procure a banqueting services for events contract through an open procedure. Further details can be obtained from the invitation to tender and associated documentation, which can be obtained from the address detailed at I.3). Provision of function/banqueting style events; typically this would include weddings, awards dinners and receptions of sort. This could include sit-down’s but also buffets, canapes, etc. Provision for lot 1 is for a food only service. The Guildhall will provide all cash bars, welcome/reception drinks, table wine/sparkling wine and all soft drinks at the request of the client. Water for tables and functions as part of lot 1’s bookings will be supplied by the Guildhall. Two suppliers will be appointed to this lot.

Winchester City Council is intending to procure daily hospitality service contract through an open procedure. Provision of a daily hospitality service to corporate/business style bookings. These predominately take place Monday-Friday. However, there are exceptions which could include hospitality for Mon-Fri evenings and Sat/Sun daytimes.
