CEHP Co-Ordinator Contract

On behalf of the Catrine Environmental Heritage Partnership (Catrine Community Trust and East Ayrshire Council) the Catrine Community Trust invites tenders for the position of Project Coordinator for the Catrine Environmental Heritage Project. The Trust is seeking a Project Co-ordinator with experience in Heritage Projects, Project Management and Financial Control, to co-ordinate the protection of the heritage assets and the programming and financial management of the four sub-projects, namely:-

1. Restoration of the weir, sluices, lades and reservoir;

2. Restoration and commissioning of the 1950 Hydro Electricity Scheme, to generate electricity and income to sustain the heritage assets;

3. Conversion of a redundant chapel building into a Community Education and Visitor Interpretation Centre (CEVIC), interpreting Catrine’s heritage, offering a programme of activities raising awareness of the village’s heritage; and

4. Upgrading the redundant manse to create a Community Enterprise Centre, delivering training in new skills.
