Services comprise the installation of whole dwelling or part dwelling central heating systems to ensure properties meet current regulations, including removal of existing heating source / infrastructure (fire or boiler / water heater), builder’s work in connection with installations, electrical services associated with heating installations, testing and commissioning of all systems and provision of necessary certificates. Additionally as part of this programme battery operated smoke detectors / alarms and carbon monoxide detectors / alarms will be installed. Services to be undertaken within specific domestic / residential housing stock owned or managed by South Yorkshire Housing Association – both general needs and Care and Supported Housing. Properties vary in size and type from detached houses to medium rise blocks of flats. The location of the selected properties will be taken from the geographical locations listed under II.1.2) of this Notice. The Employer may wish to specify a particular boiler manufacturer with whom they have a supply chain agreement with.
