The design, manufacture, delivery/installation, commissioning and qualification for up to two automated centrifuges to process a biological suspension at 400 to 900 L/h to collect ~4kg of solids. The relative centrifugal force must be in the range 17 000 to 22 000 g. The temperature difference across the centrifugation stage must vary by no more than 5 degrees Centigrade.
The centrifuge(s) must be capable of full automatic operation, solids discharge and cleaning-in-place (CIP). The centrifuge(s) must be manufactured to current pharmaceutical standards for design, product contact materials, automation, operation and CIP. Consideration must be given to servicing and vendor support.
