The Council is commissioning a generic family support service for the main centres of Girvan, Maybole and surrounding villages.
The overall aim of the service is to provide locality based child-centred family support designed around the needs of the child and their family.
This service will work to encourage and develop a range of essential skills and behaviours addressing all the elements of daily life involved in keeping children active, busy, healthy, comfortable and safe. This will include individual work with vulnerable children and targeted services with families including the provision of practical support and income maximisation where appropriate.
