We require a rapid response service for any emergency breakdown, should this occur. The approx. 26 units are situated around the Yorkshire region and you will be required to manage and maintain an agreed engine availability percentage per annum. Some of these may be within an Explosive Atmosphere therefore the successful Bidder(s) must be able to demonstrate they comply to ATEX standard.
It will be mandatory to bid on lot 1-A for consideration on this tender, however you may also look to provide an additional bid on the below:
Lot 1–B — Perkins & MAN Engines. (24x)
YWS reserve the right to exercise option B during the tender process.

Yorkshire Water Services will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006 (SI 2006 No 6) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
