The Education Authority (EA) is seeking to establish a framework for the supply and delivery of Cisco unified communication hardware, software and associated services. This will be a call off contract for the period December 2017 to December 2020 with option to extend for 2 further periods of 12 months each. The EA has already made a large investment in Cisco IP telephony with associated hardware and software elements across its building estate. The objective of this procurement exercise is to develop a framework contract that will enable the Authority to build on this investment, extending and augmenting this system in such a way as to best leverage the existing investment, while maximising the potential of what is a resilient and scalable single telephony platform.
