Cardiff Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced organisations for the provision and supply of a city wide Wireless Network service. Subject to the successful completion of the procurement process, the Council intend to award a public services concession contract to the successful bidder for a period of up to 10 years.
Suppliers wishing to participate in this tender will need to register on Cardiff Council’s tender portal, this can be found at http://appswales.alito.co.uk.

Once registered, suppliers will be able to download the relevant documentation.
It should be noted that:
The procurement will follow a concessionary model contract. The Council has chosen to voluntarily issue an OJEU Notice and for the avoidance of doubt this action shall not give rise to any further obligations other than those applicable to Concessionary services.
The Council has chosen to adopt a procurement process which encompasses some elements of the Open Procedure and some elements of the Competitive Dialogue Procedure. This hybrid procurement will follow a clear, structured and transparent process to ensure that all tenderers are treated equally and fairly and will comply with all aspects of the Public Procurement Regulations 2006.
As part of this tender process, a bidders forum will be held on the 12.4.2013 between 9:30 and 12:30.
Interested suppliers must register for this event by contacting the projects officer via e-mail at digitalcardiff@cardiff.gov.uk . Registration for the event must be completed by 16:00 on Wednesday 10.4.2013. Details of venue and joining instructions will be issued prior to event.
