1.3.2 This Framework Agreement will commence on 1.9.2015 for an initial period of 36 months until 31.8.2018 with the option to extend the Agreement for 12 months until 31.8.2019 subject to satisfactory supplier performance.
1.3.3 The Framework Agreement will be split into 4 lots as follows:
Lot 1 — Cleaning Chemicals;
Lot 2 — Janitorial Supplies;
Lot 3 — Refuse Sacks;
Lot 4 — Paper Hygiene Products.
1.3.4 The Supplier can apply for a single lot or for multiple lots. You only need to complete and return one PQQ regardless of the number of lots you wish to apply for. The PQQ will be evaluated once and the score achieved will be used for each lot you have opted to apply for. Each lot will be awarded separately and a successful award on a particular lot does not enable You to supply under any other Lot. Please indicate which lot or lots you wish to apply for in Section 7.
1.3.5 Lot 1 Cleaning Chemicals includes, but is not limited to, the following scope; multi-purpose cleaning products; hand lotion; hand soap; dishwasher cleaning agents; carpet cleaner; degreaser; descaler; detergent; floor cleaner; floor maintainers floor polish; heavy duty cleaning products; oven cleaner; rock salt; anti-bacterial sanitiser; disinfectant; toilet cleaner; washing up liquid; window, glass and stainless steel cleaner. These products will be utilised in a range of areas and types of surface including, residential accommodation, kitchens, teaching rooms, office spaces and gymnasiums. This list is not exhaustive.
1.3.6 Lot 2 Janitorial Supplies includes, but is not limited to, the following scope; microfibre cloths; dishcloths; heavy duty cloths; bin sack holders; broom heads and handles; mop heads and handles; buckets and wringers; grout brushes; deck brushes; dusters; dust pans and brushes; scourers and toilet brush sets. These products will be utilised in a range of areas and types of surface including, residential accommodation, kitchens, teaching rooms, office spaces and gymnasiums. This list is not exhaustive.
1.3.7 Lot 3 Refuse Sacks includes, but is not limited to, the following scope; sacks; heavy duty sacks; bin liners; recycling bags; compostable bags; potato starch bags; biodegradable bags. These products will be required in a range of sizes, volumes, weights and thicknesses (microns) and will be utilised in a range of areas and types of surface including, residential accommodation, kitchens, teaching rooms, office spaces and gymnasiums. This list is not exhaustive.
1.3.8 Lot 4 Paper Hygiene Products includes, but is not limited to, the following scope; toilet rolls; jumbo rolls; paper hand towels; z fold hand towels; paper facial tissues; wipes and centre feed rolls. These products will be required in a variety of sizes and weights (gsm) and will be utilised in a range of areas and types of surface including, residential accommodation, kitchens, teaching rooms, office spaces and gymnasiums. This list is not exhaustive.
All Agreements resulting from this Tender should be made available to and apply to all current and future members of the participating consortia. It should also apply, with the express written permission of the Authority, to any member of any other Higher or Further Education regional purchasing consortium or any other Higher Education Institution in the United Kingdom as well as the Research Councils, providing that they formally commit to participate in and support this Agreement. The Authority will only grant permission at the request of the consortium; or an Institution if it is not a member of a Consortium. This Agreement is not intended to replace any current Agreements that either participating or non-participating Consortia may already have in place. The whole tender process will be conducted electronically. Tenderers must register their interest online at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/nwupc. NWUPC conduct the entire tender process via In-Tend including hosting documents, receiving submissions and all communication.
It is the responsibility of the Supplier to check the In-Tend website periodically before the submission date of PQQ (Stage 1) and ITT (Stage 2) to check for any updates / correspondence / clarifications and to incorporate these updates into their submission.
