The University of Leeds provides accommodation for approximately 7000 students, approximately 5000 of which are housed in 10 large University owned Student Residences and up to 30 smaller properties.
Our Sports Centre has the largest fitness suite of any UK University, 2 large indoor courts, 3 dedicated class studios, squash courts, climbing wall and an outdoor 5 a side pitch.
The University is looking to appoint a supplier who can provide a full cleaning service for all of the Residential portfolio and the sports facilities public areas at the Edge Sports Centre (excluding the cleaning of the pool, sports halls and gym equipment) including office spaces.

The contract will be awarded in 2 lots. Lot 1 – Residences and small properties, Lot 2 – The Edge Sports Centre. 1 supplier will be allocated to each lot. The contract is due to start as a phased roll-out on 1.10.2013. and will run for 2 years with an option to extend annually for 2 further years.
Estimated annual spend is circa GBP 650 000 per annum.
