North East Worcester College are looking to appoint a building cleaning services contractor to service the cleaning requirements of their sites based in Redditch and Bromsgrove.
The tendering process will involve two main stages: Pre-qualification and invitation to tender. All interested parties will be required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire which upon scoring will highlight the highest scoring submissions. It is intended that the top 6 highest scoring submissions will be invited to tender for the contract.
The College has requested that flexibility is built into the contract term and as such the minimum contract term will be for 22 months commencing on the 1.10.2014 and ending on the 31.7.2016, with two further extension periods of 12 months each which would be awarded at the discretion of the College. Prices will also be requested for an initial contract term of 36 months.
TUPE will apply to this contract and therefore interested parties will be required to demonstrate their experience in undertaking TUPE transfers into their business and providing pensions schemes which are of equal standing to those already available to affected staff.

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Part B of the Pre-qualification questionnaire will be scored on a pass or fail. Companies awarded a fail score will not be considered for the contract. If any of the conditions described in Part B apply at the time of submitting the PQQ then the organisation will be deemed to have failed the evaluation.
Two sections of Part C of the Pre-qualification questionnaire will be scored on a pass or fail. Companies awarded a fail score will not be considered for the contract.
