Description of the contract

Expressions of interest are requested from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of 3D sound and light shows up to a value of £25,000 as part of the project to redevelop Colchester Castle, which is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and the European Regional Development Fund. The sound and light shows will include the delivery of the following: • Detailed specification for the hardware necessary to run the shows • Mapping of the wall onto which the shows will be projected to ensure that projected images are of sufficient clarity • Three sound and light shows with narration, each of 2 to 3 minutes duration

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. Quotations based on the requirements laid out in the brief must be received by no later than noon on Friday 11th October 2013.
