Description of the contract

Boiler refurbishment projects at various Sheltered Housing Schemes comprising the replacement of the existing outdated boiler plant with new high-efficiency modern equipment with a view to reducing energy usage and carbon emissions. As well as replacing the boiler plant, the contractor shall cost modifications to be carried out on the existing heating system within the flats to improve the controllability of the system for the tenants. As the works are to be carried out whilst the residents are in situ, temporary boiler plant and hot water generation are to be provided to maintain the service provision to the occupants.
