Any organisation that wishes to deliver debt advice needs to obtain FCA authorisation, unless they qualify for an exemption.
However, organisations wishing to take part in the bidding process to not need to have received authorisation in order to bid or act as a consortia lead during the delivery of the services, but must be aware that a partnership must include providers who are in a position to begin service delivery from July 2019.
Additional providers may come on stream as part of the partnership when any required authorisation is in place.
