Grant-funded opportunities to support local communities in East Sussex

East Sussex County Council and the local NHS are taking forward our award winning approach to funding outcomes that improve the health, social care and wellbeing of communities in East Sussex. This joint investment will be made available through grant arrangements.
The Prospectus contains details about investment available to meet outcomes in the following areas:
- Children’s Centres
- Drugs and Alcohol Recovery
- Health Improvement
- Learning Disability & Autism
- Mental Health
- Older People
- Physical Disability, Sensory Impairment and Long Term Conditions
- HIV Prevention and Self Care and Enabling Support for People With HIV
Award criteria are based on a combination of quality, social capital and best value. Detailed criteria are provided within the application pack. You can chose to apply for a main grant (more than £15,000 over 3 years) or a small grants (up to £15,000 over three years). Organisations registering their interest should note that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 may apply. Details will be made available along side the application pack.
The TUPE information within the Application documentation is Confidential in nature, therefore the Council has an obligation to ensure that this is understood and confirmed by the Applicant. To ensure that this is the case, and also that the Provider does not receive information that is not relevant to their application, the following email exchange will take place following the applicants expression of interest;
EMAIL 1 of 5 – from ESCC
This email is sent within 48 hours of expressing an interest and will be from firstname.lastname@example.org

The email will contain the Confidentiality Undertaking document. This is required before any further information or documentation can be released.
EMAIL 2 of 5 – from Provider (or alternatively sent in by hard copy)
Signed copy of the confidentiality undertaking.
EMAIL 3 of 5 – from ESCC
This email will contain all the documentation required to complete your application excluding the relevant TUPE data. This email will request that you inform ESCC of your bidding intentions. This is so that your organisation is not sent information that is not relevant to your bid
EMAIL 4 of 5 – from provider
Confirmation of what outcome you are going to bid for,
EMAIL 5 of 5 – from ESCC
This will contain the TUPE information that is considered relevant to your application.
The deadline for returning your completed application is 12:00 noon on Friday, 25th April 2014.
