Soft Market Questionnaire: Wolverhampton Council is planning to commission in 2021 new services supporting people to access Community Day Activities which can be defined as, ‘providing a meaningful activity and social opportunities which are personalised to meet the needs of the adult.’ Community Day Activities deliver the following: • Community activities aim to meet the key needs of adults living in the City of Wolverhampton who meet the eligibility criteria and are; • socially isolated; • physically frail • dementia • mental health • Physical or sensory impairment • A flexible service that is responsive to the changing needs and aspirations of individuals; • An ethos of enablement to maximise people’s independence; • An outcome-focused model of services; • A continuing commitment to provide carers with breaks from their caring role and assistance to help them continue to care; • A diverse range of provision enabling people to access community facilities and universal services • A Community activity is designed for service users aged 55 and over. For the purpose of the intended procurement activity the focus will be on services for older adults.
