For Lots 1, 2 and 3 this Contract shall commence on the 31.1.2015 and shall continue for a period of three (3) years and two (2) months thereafter until 7.4.2018. unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of this Contract or extended at the sole discretion of the Council for one (1) year by giving at least three (3) Months’ prior notice in writing. For Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 bulking of Approved waste the Contract shall commence, at the earliest, on 15.12.2014, or such other date as may be agreed in writing between the Council and the Contractor, for a period of three (3) years three (3) months until 7.4.2018 unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of this Contract or extended at the sole discretion of the Council for one (1) year by giving at least three (3) Months’ prior notice in writing. Please note, that the estimated value of these services has been provided below and the indicative value(s) relate to a 3 year 2 month and 3 year 3 month core term plus the possible 1 year extension (if taken up).Tenderers should be aware that due to the nature of the Services provided Lots 1 and 2 shall be executed as a deed and attested under the common seal of the Council. Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Hertfordshire County Council will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers to allow unsuccessful tenderers to raise any complaints before the contract is entered into. If a complaint between the Council and the tenderer regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved, relevant provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) will apply.
