Description of the goods or services required

Dumfries & Galloway College occupy a purpose built Further Education facility within the Crichton Campus on the outskirts of Dumfries. The building opened in September 2008, to-date it has served our needs well, however as Further Education demand and provision are constantly changing, we must now look to tailor our building for the changing curriculum demands for the next few years.

Dumfries and Galloway College are looking to engage an Architectural Practice to work closely with the College, to act as concept designers

initially in relation to our sports facilities. Additionally there may be a number of projects we are expecting to implement over the coming years, dependant on curriculum needs.

In the first instance this arrangement will be for a period of three years with the opportunity to extend at the discretion of the College.

Dumfries & Galloway College invite tenders from Architectural Practices who can demonstrate a history of successfully completing works of this nature within Education, Further Education or Higher Educational environments supported by documentary evidence and references from clients.

The Practice must hold all the appropriate accreditation associated with an Architectural Practice and documentation supporting this must be submitted along with relevant Insurance documentation.

Included in your submission Dumfries & Galloway College are looking for your terms and conditions, the level of priority your organisation can devote to projects on behalf of the College, the diversity of expertise within your partnership and a breakdown of your fee scales.

Dumfries & Galloway College advises all tenderers, the decision to appoint will be based solely on the information supplied in your submissions.
