Description of the contract
Provision of Conflict Resolution (Violence and Aggression) Training. The Trust is committed to the continuing education, training and development of its staff. Training is deemed as essential for all staff to ensure they are able to perform their jobs to a constantly high standard and in a safe environment. Provision of Conflict Resolution (Violence & Aggression) Training is a Trust requirement to meet NHSLA requirements. HR & Learning and Organisation Development are looking to provide an in-house course for the above training, (1 day) training for newly appointed staff into the organisation as well as a refresher course (1/2 day) for those staff who have completed the initial day within the past 3 years. Based on this requirement it is estimated that in any one year we will require full day sessions for all new staff, with a requirement for the half day session for circa 2700 staff across several sites within the County Durham and Darlington area. The Trust are looking for a service provider to work in partnership with the HR & Learning and Organisation Development team to provide and maintain training to circa 2700 staff for an initial period of 24 months with on-going collaboration to ensure the course content is compliant with NHSLA requirements, this opportunity will have the option to then extend for a further 12 months plus 12 months.
