The creation of a framework agreement comprising a range of professional service firms to provide services in construction related fields for the NHS in Gloucestershire, e.g. Architectural design services, Engineering design services for mechanical and electrical installations, Quantity surveying services, Civil and structural engineering consultancy services, CDM Co-ordinators, Project Management, Traffic Management Consultants etc. It is envisaged that most appointments (during the term of the framework) for specific development and construction projects will either be on a time charge basis using agreed fee costs within the framework or following mini- competitions held with suitable framework service providers.

The framework agreement will be for a term of 4 years – professional firms engaged on the framework may be selected to compete for construction related contracts arising from health organisations in Gloucestershire. Most schemes subject to full design services will have a total capital cost within the range 200 000 GBP to 3 500 000 GBP.
