II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
Economic Operator to design & build an Innovation Centre on a brownfield site. The scheme will provide approximately 35,000 sq ft of lettable space with associated reception & ancillary spaces (approximately 52,500 sq ft overall). The contractor will be required to develop the concept designs prepared by the employer’s executive consultant team (ECT). The ECT will not be novated, the contractor will be required to seek planning approval, as well as all other statutory or other approvals for the scheme. The contract will include social considerations, as well as 3D building information modelling (BIM). The contract will be procured using NEC3 forms of contract. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to terminate the contract before commencement of the construction phase at its sole discretion.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The Contracting Authority will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers.
