1)Short description

The consultancy services to be provided relate to the City of London’s local authority function and in particular it’s stock of approximately 84 highway structures but excluding the five river bridges referred to above. The stock consists of road-over-road bridges, road-over-rail bridges, pedestrian walkways over road bridges, pedestrian subways and a network of service subways. The services will include but not be limited to the programming, planning, inspection and condition monitoring of the stock of highway structures – maintaining and updating the City of London’s web-based database of highway structures (using Bridgestation) and log of outstanding maintenance works advising on the prioritisation of the maintenance work bank and asset management plans, budgets and estimates – Load assessments – Structural advice including technical reviews of third parties – Development of the City of London’s asset management procedures/plans.
