THIS PROJECT IS CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SERVICES AND NOT CONTENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES AS PREVIOUSLY POSTEDVisitBritain currently have a number of legacy platforms (including 4 CMS, 6 customer databases) to support online and customer marketing activity.Primary driver for this programme is to refresh the ageing technology estate with a single, modern and fully cloud-based technical platform under VisitBritain.com which also delivers the following advantages:Open API – To enable partners to more easily use our content in their platformsPersonalisation – Tailored content to segments / individuals rather than at country level presentlyResponsive Design – To cater for mobile and tablet devicesFull language support – Arabic Right-To-Left, Chinese, etc.Responsiveness globally – Site works in a timely fashion from China, New Zealand, Brazil, etc.Single Brand – Look like a single joined up organisationSpeed to Market – Messages and content will be able to be delivered much quicker than they can todaySecondary Driver is cost saving. By the end of the programme (end March 2017), the ambition is to have delivered a operational IT technology saving of £500k (1) per annum. VisitBritain Board has approved an outline budget of £1.8M over the three financial years. Return on investment achieved within 4 years of Programme completion.
