Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust is a centre of excellence providing specialist healthcare for women and their families in the West Midlands. We provide a full range of gynaecological, maternity and neonatal care with 126 adult inpatient beds, 20 delivery rooms, an 8 bed induction of labour suite and 51 Neonatal cots (39 on the NICU and 12 transitional care). Our Fertility Centre is one of the most successful in the UK and our Fetal Medicine Centre provides care to patients throughout the region and across the country.
Companies are invited to express their interest in tendering to supply the pharmacy service to Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust which has had a pre expansion annual drug spend of 1.1 million GBP (2011-12), with 1950 packs dispensed per month and ward stock top-ups. The pharmacy service will be required to meet the medicines management standards in CQC outcome 9.
