Description of the contract

As a follow up to the Hidden in Plain Sight report, The Manifesto for Change will show how agencies have responded to the report, its recommendations and what actions will be taken that will secure significant change in the lives of disabled people. The Equality and Human Rights Commission wishes to contract for a writer to take material drafted by the in-house inquiry team drawing on information from our stakeholder engagement and craft it into a persuasive and engaging narrative that is informative, accessible and (i) communicates the Commission’s expectations of public authorities, (ii) inspires public authorities and service providers to commit to effective and sustainable action, (iii) enables disabled people and their organisations to assess whether progress is being made, and to challenge inactivity, and (iv) effectively promotes the Commissions work and commitment to this important issue. Suppliers should note that there is no Expression of Interest stage and electronic submissions are required by 15:00 Wednesday 20th June.
