CPI is looking to appoint a provider of professional travel booking services. CPI has staff based at several locations — including, but not limited to, Redcar, Sedgefield and Darlington. Given the activities detailed above, the nature of travel is varied, can be last minute, subject to change, complex and occasionally to long haul or multiple destinations.

We are seeking the services of an experienced and professional travel company to assist in managing our travel and accommodation requirements. Currently, most localised travel and accommodation is booked online by a team of highly capable in house administrative staff. We anticipate that routine travel and accommodation will still be handled this way.
For travel of a more complex nature — this will include short notice, long distance destinations, multiple destinations or and ticket on departure journeys — we are seeking the services of an experienced and professional travel company to assist in managing our requirements, we expect enquiries to be answered within a maximum of two hour response time. Attached as Appendix 2 is a summary extract from of CPI’s Travel policy.
