The Tender seeks to consolidate all print requirements into a considered and structured approach. This approach will deliver a streamlined, quality-driven service — benefitting from solid account management support and technological advancements, whilst also delivering financial savings to the University.
The duration of the Tender requires us to thoroughly review and test the market to ensure each category of print achieves appropriate suppliers who have specialist and ‘future proofed’ expertise to support all facets of University print requirements, throughout the course of the entire contract period.
The University wishes to establish a framework agreement for its corporate print requirements. The framework agreement will be for duration of 3 years with the option of 1 further 1-year extension dependent on contract performance. The framework shall have 3 lots; Digital colour, and black and white print, General Litho print and Coventry University prospectus.

Coventry University requires suppliers for its black and white printing and copying. This is for standard A4 print for an expected 4 million impressions per annum.
Suppliers awarded to this will also be required to provide the University with its low volume digital colour print requirements. The job quantities can vary 1-500 with a total print volume of approximately 500 000+ annually. The range of print will be diverse from leaflets, flyers, posters, newsletters, booklets and reports ranging from sizes of A5 to A0 paper.

Coventry University requires a supplier to supply printed copies of their range of prospectuses on a per annum basis. The prospectus is essential to Coventry University as it is an opportunity for the University to advertise itself to potential new students. We provide prospectuses for our Coventry University offering (UG and PG), our Coventry University offering (combined UG/PG) and our CU offering (UG only). The 2017 UG prospectus was a 114 page document, 250mm x 170mm of which 30 000 were printed. Some Prospectuses may require personalisation with selective sections from the prospectus, printed on high end digital press and mailed directly to students.
