The contract will include the supply and maintenance of the full Road Restraint System network on all categories of road, with the occasional requirement for new barrier installation.
This is an electronic tender via the Council’s ProContract eTender system. All organisations interested in this tender should register an expression of interest against this contract online at ‘www.nepoportal.org’, Tender Reference QTLE-8VAKH5. All tender documents are available via this portal. The Council will be using the Open Procurement.

Procedure and completed Invitation to Tenders (ITT) must be returned by 12 noon on 30.7.2012, in accordance with the instructions in the documents.
As part of the tender process Sunderland City Council intend to hold a tender clarification briefing on 11.7.2012 at Civic Centre, Burdon Road, Sunderland. SR2 7DN, arrive 2:15pm for a 2:30pm start. The aim of the briefing is to provide advice on submitting a compliant bid, there will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
