Description of the goods or services required

In 2007 The National Library of Wales (NLW) was commissioned by CyMAL to establish a technical solution to the resource discovery and delivery system across libraries in Wales. The current web-based solution enables users to search all web-accessible library catalogues of member libraries in Wales from one search box. The contract concerning the current service is due to expire. NLW is now seeking to appoint a provider with the necessary skills and expertise to provide the Service for a period of at least 24 months. The provision of the Service may subsequently be extended by the Library for up to 2 further one year periods.
