Leisure, Culture and Sport – Soft Market Test.
Leisure, Culture and Sport – Soft Market Test
The Council aspires to improve outcomes for the community; to provide customers with services that are efficient, effective and economic. The Council is exploring alternative delivery approaches for its Sport, Leisure and Cultural Services (including Libraries). The Council desires a delivery solution which will positively impact on identified outcomes and contribute to addressing the assessed need. This is to be delivered within an indicative financial envelope. The Council is undertaking a soft market exercise which is intended to allow interested organisations with appropriate experience to outline their views and provide information to the Council. The soft market testing process will consist of an Open Day which includes a presentation and an opportunity for interested parties to have individual discussions. Following the Open Day, interested parties are requested to submit a written response to the attached questionnaire using the SCMS system. The Council will consider the responses to inform the Council’s options appraisal and subsequent Council decision making process. If you are interested in attending the open day please download the attached documents which explain the process in detail.
