II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

In 2018 Southern Water committed to an on-going customer engagement strategy with Ofwat, with a key principle being around partnered working with our research agencies.

The aim of the framework is to have a series of partners (research agencies) available to carry out research with our customers, enabling Southern Water to better understand their experiences, priorities, expectations and needs from us as a company. Southern Water are looking to invest time with awarded agencies to share our needs, values, priorities and expectations, which results in an evolving understanding of our on-going requirements through collaboration and efficient working relationships.

The customer research services required include but is not limited to:

— managing proposals,

— survey design,

— fieldwork, analysis,

— delivery of output back to Southern Water.

PQQ response from service providers is subject to evaluation, where a score will be applied to set questions. Service providers will be ranked based on this score and at the discretion of Southern Water, between 10 and 14 suppliers will be invited to tender.

For avoidance of doubt Southern Water may award contracts to, between 3 and 6 bidders.
