Description of the contract
international cooperation and shared understanding on cyber crime as part of the process begun by the London Conference on Cyberspace, in addition to promoting the Council of Europe’s Convention on Cyber Crime (the Budapest Convention) and building on the new EU Directive on attacks on information systems. Cyber crime has been identified as a top priority during the UK’s presidency of the G8. This project allows the UK to develop a sustainable training programme to improve the capabilities of the G8 24/7 data preservation network. In order to ensure consistent guidance and maintenance of the G8 24/7 network, it is imperative that all Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
