Description of the contract

To deliver cyclist training to primary school children and adults across the borough. Providers must be accredited to the National Bikeability Scheme and be able to provide enhanced CRB Checks for all staff. These must be verified on Contract Award. The Authority proposes to enter into a Contract with the successful Tenderer (Service Provider) for an initial period of one (1) year. Following this, there will be the possibility to extend on an annual basis for the next three (3) years, bringing the potential maximum period of this contract to four (4) years. (1 + 1 + 1 + 1). The extension will be subject to the availability of funding.

To receive the Invitation To Tender documentation, Expressions of Interest must be received by email to Any questions or queries should be made in writing by e-mail and must be received no later than 1pm on Wednesday 4th July 2012. The deadline for submission of tenders is 1pm on Monday 9th July 2012. All tenderers will be expected to provide their latest annual report, three years audited accounts, details of their skills and expertise in providing this type of service and details of similar contracts and any other information as specified within the Invitation To Tender documentation. All tenderers must be able to provide evidence of a successful track record in providing a similar service. The winning tenderer must provide evidence of their enhance CRB checks on contract award.
