Derby City Council is looking to procure a single suitably qualified company to carry out works and improvements to an existing culvert beneath Darley Street, Derby. Scope of works to include:
The installation of a new 105m long section of 450mm diameter culvert to replace a damaged section of the historic Nut Brook. The formation of 3 number new manhole chambers, of which two to form driving and receiving chambers for the trenchless dig.
The location and incorporation of an existing storm inflow into the new alignment from Old Lane
The replacement of 13 existing road gullies and connections into the culvert to improve the flow of stormwater within Darley Street.
