We are a social enterprise, licensed in summer 2013, and part of a network of fifteen Academic Health Science Networks across England. We are a membership organisation working for NHS, higher education, local government and industry organisations in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. We work closely with existing networks that share members’ ambitions to improve care, with leaders and committed staff across the South East of England.
KSS AHSN is seeking to procure a service with the following objectives:
(a) Develop and deliver a clinical cohort identification process, employing standardised data acquisition, extraction, and processing methods and techniques that allow KSS AHSN and its members to consistently and robustly identify the patient cohorts relevant to its specified clinical cohorts.
(b) Develop and deliver a clinical measures collection process that will provide solutions that allow the capture, recording, processing, reporting, and dissemination of data related to the quantitative and/or qualitative measurement of clinical processes to facilitate improvement across healthcare organisations for each clinical, focus area.

Additional services that may be required include, but are not limited to, professional services such as project management, implementation and deployment, training and support, the development and management of processes associated with the management of clinical records and, potentially, integration of the Service with national health and social care systems.
Bidders may propose a single product or fully-integrated multiple products that meet the requirements stated in the specification to be published with the invitation to tender.
The contract term will be 3 years (36 months) with options to extend for a maximum of 2 further years.
