Description of the contract

Camden Council is seeking proposals from a range of community organisations to deliver personalised services for people with moderate level dementia. We are looking to work with providers that can offer services that are ambitious about what people with dementia can do and achieve and that see the person first, not their dementia. These might not be traditionally associated with adult social care or day care and could be things that emphasise creativity, culture, physical activity or staying social or a combination of these. We recognise that there is a gap in this market; therefore we are seeking to encourage new suppliers. We are doing this by inviting organisations to submit applications to join a list of providers to deliver these services. Interested organisations must submit applications and give details of the type and costs of the services which will be provided to people with moderate dementia. There will be no guarantee of work to any organisation on this list.
