The scope of the works is for suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to undertake hot/cold cutting techniques to size reduce items for suitable disposal in waste containers or facilities. The cutting techniques include, but not limited to:
— diamond wire cutting,
— water jet cutting,
— trepanning,
— plasma cutting,
— saws,
— hydraulic tools.
The majority of works will be undertaken in radiologically contaminated environments.
