Description of the goods or services requiredThe objectives of this programme are to increase the scale and rate of implementation of progressive people practices in Scottish companies through a deeper engagement programme, which will result in an increased pace of innovation within organisations, improvements in productivity, efficiency, better employee engagement and utilisation of skills. The Workplace Innovation Deeper Engagement Programme will develop a cohort of ambitious and growing companies to implement a Workplace Innovation strategy or project within their business which results in measurable improvements in areas such as innovation, productivity, efficiency, employee engagement, employee retention and reduction in absenteeism. Participants will develop a robust understanding of the principles and benefits of Workplace Innovation and Progressive People Practices and how to implement and embed these within their organisations. The programme will be targeted at SE’s Account Managed portfolio of companies. Each programme will be open to a maximum of 12 companies (24 participants) and run over a 6-8 month period. Companies will have 2 participants on the programme; a senior leader and a change agent, both of whom will have the authority and desire to drive transformational change within their organisation through progressive people practices. The following elements should form the structure and focus of the Workplace Innovation Deeper Engagement programme: – Access to a Workplace Innovation diagnostic tool/process – Structured learning – minimum of 5 workshops – Coaching support – min. 14 hours per company to support participants to implement a strategic Workplace Innovation project within their own business Potential suppliers must be able to demonstrate expertise and knowledge in relation to creating and delivering Workplace Innovation programmes to businesses in cross /multi sectors at CEO or senior director level. Total quantity or scope of tenderThe contract will be for a 2 year period with a review at the end of the first programme (June 2017) to evaluate the outcomes and impacts. It is anticipated that the contract will commence in June 2016 and run until May 2018. The programme will be run in the central belt of Scotland at a location determined by Scottish Enterprise; however successful applicants will be required to cover Scottish Enterprise’s geographic area. It is estimated that the value of this commission will be between GBP95000 and GBP135000 over a 2 year period. |
